A lot of people are unaware of the ministry we have in the Bahamas among the Haitian population residing there. There are currently three churches that are associated with Caribbean Vision Ministries and the Charis Alliance in the Bahamas. The Haitian population in the Bahamas currently numbers 80,000 people.
God has provided three great Haitian Pastors for these three churches who are dedicated to reaching the Haitian people in the Bahamas for Christ and training them to be good disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Dr. Dumont Cardichon, serving with Caribbean Vision Ministries, and Dr. Henri Cher-Aime
serving with Calvary Baptist Church in Nassau, have been primary leaders and trainers for the three Haitian Churches.
One of the Bahamas Church Pastors is Limage Philogen, who is the Pastor of New Vision of the New Revelation Church. Pastor Limage is a leader and visionary in reaching people for Christ. The church is currently adding a new addition on to their church building that will better accomodate their congregation. The building will also serve as an additional location for Grace Theological Institute to better accomodate the residents in the area of the church. Pastor Bill Tweeddale of Oceanview Fellowship in Indialantic, Florida has joined with Pastor Limage to aid in the construction of the new addition to the church. Pastor Bill's efforts are much appreciated and his vision for greater evangelistic efforts in the Bahamas is greatly appreciated. We ask all our partners and friends to pray for Pastor Dumont, Pastor Henri and Pastor Bill as they labor to reach people for Christ in the Bahamas and disciple them in their walk with Christ.
