Caribbean Vision Ministries is changing on January 1, 2026. The Torch is being passed to a new generation. Caribbean Vision Ministries was formed to assist local churches in America and local churches in the Caribbean by connecting them to one another so the Gospel of Jesus Christ could move forward in the Caribbean. CVM has always been focused on assisting churches in planting churches. This has of necessity involved a number of different avenues of assistance to the churches in the Caribbean and involvement/partnership with a number of different organizations.

At the present time CVM is ministering in three countries outside the United States: Trinidad, Haiti and the Bahamas. One of the most important things CVM has done in assisting churches in the Caribbean has been the establishment of Grace Theological Institutes to train Pastors and Church Leaders so that they are biblically sound in doctrine and practice. As a result, they could plant new churches and grow them in a biblical manner. We have followed this format since the beginning of our existence.

For several years now the Board of Directors of Caribbean Vision Ministries has been evaluating our original purpose of existence, the progress in fulfilling that purpose, and the future for “passing the torch” to the next generation of Christians in each of the countries in which we serve.

The Caribbean where CVM serves consists of three very distinct areas: (1) The Lesser Antilles (where Trinidad is located); (2) The Greater Antilles (where Haiti is located); and (3) The Lucayan Archipelago (where the Bahamas is located). The Board of Directors believes that CVM has accomplished and completed its original purpose of assisting local churches in the U.S. to connect with teams and leadership in appropriate Caribbean countries to reach the lost and carry out the Great Commission and the Great Commandment. It is time to “Pass The Torch” of these endeavors directly to the local churches of the U.S. and Caribbean.

Improvements in communication and transportation enable local churches in the U.S. to partner directly with churches and like-minded organizations in the Caribbean who need assistance. The aid of CVM is no longer required for these endeavors. Caribbean Vision Ministries has developed an independent communication/relationship channel for each of the three areas of the Caribbean. This will allow local churches, districts of churches, and national organizations in the U.S. to work directly with the same types of ministries in the Caribbean.

Any church interested in ministry in the Caribbean can contact the Field Leader directly or make contact with the U.S. Contact person for assistance or information. Each of the Contact Persons has “hands on” experience in the Caribbean area they represent and will gladly help any church or organization that wants to aid God’s work in their area of the harvest field. The churches in the Caribbean can do the same thing. Also attached is information on the natural divisions of the Caribbean that we think will be useful to you.

Some people/churches/ministries in the U.S. are regular donors to particular Caribbean ministries (schools, churches, ministries) through Caribbean Vision Ministries. We encourage you to continue to support these ministries and we will be delighted to explain to you how to do so in the future. Please contact Dr. Chuck Davis at chuckdavis.cvm@gmail.com or call him at 850-624-1065 for more information. Any funds currently held by CVM for these ministries or received at a later date will be distributed directly to these ministries. We are sure to have some “bumps” as we transition to these new arrangements but we will do our best to make these changes go as smoothly as possible as we “Pass The Torch” to a new generation. Caribbean Vision Ministries will continue to exist to aid ministries already in existence and to assist those who have questions concerning the changes being made and how to continue to be part of reaching Caribbean people for Christ. The CVM website will be posting materials relating to the new model of ministry CVM has chosen to follow.

Thank you for your partnership over the years as we have served God together. It is your prayers, presence and financial gifts that have allowed the Team at CVM to serve God in the Caribbean. If you have any questions or need clarification on anything concerning the approaching changes, please feel free to contact Chuck via the avenues on the letterhead.

In the Grace of Jesus,

Dr. Chuck Davis
