THE OMNISCIENCE OF GOD: GOD KNOWS ALL OUR ACTIVITIES!
The Omniscience of God: God Knows All Our Activities. “You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways,” (Psalm 139:2-3 NIV). David knew that God knows all our movements through life. God knows what we do and God knows where we go. God knows every activity we are involved in whether good or bad. People think God is not aware of their activities. But God knows all about our activities. God knows every moment what we do and where we go. You cannot fool God. God knows.
I am glad I am not omniscient. I would not want to know what everyone around me does every moment of every day because I am sure that would affect my relationship with them and probably often in detrimental ways. Neither would I want people to know what I do every moment of every day. They probably would not agree with all my ways either. But God knows all our ways and God does and will deal with all our activities, good or bad, at the proper time. In our daily movements on this earth we should organize our activities to please God not our fellow man. Make sure that all your activities are godly activities then you don’t have to worry about God knowing what you are doing. In fact God will rejoice in your activities.
A very positive side of this topic is that you know God is with you everywhere you go and He knows your needs. You can face life’s trials because God is there. God knows what you are going through. If you are having a great activity that benefits God’s kingdom God knows that and God rejoices with you. If you are having a depressing moment God also knows that and can help you. Sometimes we may think God doesn’t know how we feel, or how we think, or what we are going through but nothing could be further from the truth. God not only knows your thoughts but he also knows your situation, whatever it is and wherever you are. God is “familiar with all my ways.” And remember God loves us.
