REFLECTING THE GLORY OF JESUS! The Christian’s actions, looks and behavior should reflect he glory of our Savior Jesus Christ and not the filth of the world. What are you and I filling our minds with? I believe that whatever we fill our mind with is what we become. Fill your mind with the filth of the world and you will become like the world. Fill your mind with the things of God and you will begin to reflect God. The Apostle Paul said , "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things," (Philippians 4:8 NIV). Why? Our heart & mind develop our character. If we want to be godly then we must fill our mind and heart with God things. If we want to develop godly children or aid friends or family members in this world to become godly we must help them do the same. Consider how you and your family spend your time & money and where you place your emphasis in life and you will know what you fill your mind with. A five minute devotional in the morning, prayer at meal time, and Sunday morning worship service at Church does not capture what the Apostle Paul is saying. Just a few minutes a day or week does not overcome the barrage of filth being spewed out by this world. A daily diet of the mind being filled with spiritual thoughts and principles from God's Word is necessary. A right mind and heart should be reflected in our actions. As the Apostle Paul said, "Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you," (Philippians 4:9 NIV). A right mind is God oriented and is demonstrated by right actions and the presence of the God of peace in our lives.
