AMBASSADORS! Ambassadors are representatives of others; i.e., nations, companies, people. Some are good representatives and some are bad. God has appointed every Christian to be an Ambassador for Christ in this world we live in. It is our duty to bring His message of redemption and His gift of righteousness to a sinful and spiritually lost world. It is our duty to represent Christ in an accurate, urgent and positive way. There is no higher calling than to represent the King and ruler of all things. There is no greater message than the message that Christ has paid the price for the sins of everyone and now offers everyone the opportunity to be restored to a position of righteousness with God. As the Apostle Paul said, "We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God," (2 Corinthians 5:20-21 NIV). Christian, as we begin our duties as Christ's Ambassador today, let us determine to be the very best representative of Christ and His message of love and redemption that we can be. After all we do represent the most important person and the most important message in the world.
