PATIENCE! Millie and I are indeed thankful for those of you who have been praying for her during this time of physical health challenges. She had two tests yesterday that did not go well when she took them a month ago and they resulted in a second hospital stay. Yesterday she had the same tests and could not believe they were the same tests she had the month before. A different location for the test, different medical personnel, and same tests, but this time totally different circumstances and physical results followed the tests. Thank you for your prayers during this time.
Now we need to practice patience as we wait for the test results which we hope will be known soon and bear good news so that Millie can continue to move forward in her physical recovery. Your continued prayers will be appreciated and we will share the news as we receive it. God is a great and awesome God and I know He doesn’t weary of hearing from us regarding our needs of all kinds and God is so good He always responds to us in the way that He deems best for us. So whatever the outcome of the tests and whenever we receive the results we know God is in control and will lead in the way that He deems best.
Patience is sometimes difficult when we are waiting on things that seem to drag on for long periods of time but from a man, the Apostle Paul, who knew about trials and patience comes this word of advice from God’s Word, “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer,” (Ephesians :4:2 NIV). Even at this stage of life God is still teaching us much about patience and God cheers us on, “Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord,” (Psalm 37:7 NIV). “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still,” (Psalm 27:14 NIV). Praise the Lord!
