THANKSGIVING AND PRAYER! Today is my grandson Jonathan’s birthday. Birthday’s come and go and some people get excited about them and for others it is just another day. But today I remember that just a few years ago when Jon was involved in an auto accident we were not sure Jon would see another birthday on planet earth. Through God’s grace and the prayers of many who are reading this post Jon is still alive, a healthy young man in his 30’s, and doing well in life. I am thankful for God’s mercy and grace in Jon’s life and pray for him to have a great day today in celebrating life and giving thanks to God. Thank you for praying for him during a time of crisis.
Many of you know that in the last two months Millie has gone through two serious bladder surgeries, septic shock treatment, rehab recovery, and continuing home health care. Progress has been slow but steady in recovering from these things and also in regaining the ability to walk with a walker once again. We thank those of you who have prayed for and are continuing to pray for Millie. We believe it is through your prayers that she continues to progress in recovery. We would ask you to pray for her this week as she faces another medical test on Thursday morning on her bladder to see if her bladder is healed. The last time she had this test she went into septic shock and was readmitted to the ICU and a week’s stay in the hospital. As you can imagine she is a little apprehensive about this approaching procedure. Your prayers would be appreciated. God is a great and loving God and we are thankful for His grace and mercy in every situation and we know Millie is in His care.
