TOUGH DECISIONS! I am reminded each day of the tough decisions that people make in life. This week I have watched people face tough major decisions that will affect their life until the day they die. That is not easy for a senior citizen without family or close friends. This week I have also watched the field directors of our mission organization face really tough but necessary decisions that will affect many lives. Choices and decisions in life are not always easy. Sometimes they are just tough. Life can get messy and complicated. Reflecting on all this I am reminded of the tough decisions (from a human perspective) that God has made concerning the human race. I cannot think of a tougher problem (from a human perspective) than a fallen, sinful human race that needs redemption. Our loving God made a very tough decision (from a human perspective) to solve mankind’s problem. God chose to send His Son the Lord Jesus Christ to provide redemption for all human beings who would receive it. In love God acted and provided the sinless for the sinful to provide redemption. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life, (John 3:16 NIV). As we face tough decisions let us make those decisions based on God’s example of love and let us seek His wisdom.
