TEAMWORK! We can do more together as Christians than we can do separately. That principle is probably true in most things in life. Millie’s rehab facility has a team of people to serve people being treated there. No one person can do everything. If one person is failing in their job someone is suffering in some way. Politics, religion, race, sex and a lot of other topics are set aside to meet the needs of suffering people. As Christians we live in a suffering world. The people around us are spiritually dying and don’t even realize it. Christians need to be team focused like Jesus and the Disciples, Paul & Timothy, Paul & Titus, The Apostles & The Deacons of the early church. We need to set aside non-essential differences and reach those under a death sentence with the gospel of Christ. The Apostle Paul put it in perspective when he said,”What after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe—as the Lord has assigned to each his task. I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building,” (1 Corinthians 3:5-9 NIV). Get on the team. Do your job.
