THREE STRANDS MEDICAL TEAM
The Three Strands Medical Team is serving with Caribbean Vision Ministries in Haiti this week.
We are thankful for all the individuals, churches, and organizations who serve with and assist the Caribbean Vision Ministries team in Haiti in the various ministries we have in that country.
Mike Taylor, Executive Director of Three Strands, has been teaming with us since 2010 and has brought numerous teams to Haiti to provide medical care for the Port Au Prince and Cap Haitien communities.
We are thankful the medical team you see in the header photo is serving in Cap Haitien this week to provide medical care for the community and also our kids and staff at House of Hope Orphanage. God has provided us with a good Haitian staff, from the U.S. and local community, to assist this team in providing quality medical care to very needy people in a very poor community.
Your prayers for this team for this week will be greatly appreciated. Three Strands has a deep commitment to the Haitian people in providing quality health care on an ongoing basis both with teams and with an established medical clinic in Cap Haitien. While in Haiti on this trip Mike Taylor and his team will have a ground breaking & dedication ceremony for the construction of a new medical clinic building in partnership with Caribbean Vision Ministries. More information will be forthcoming on this venture in the near future.

AN UPDATE ON MILLIE
Many of you know that my wife Millie had a mini-stroke on May 31, 2015 and was recovering fairly well. On August 25 Millie had another more severe stroke that set her back quite a bit.
Millie lost all the ground she had gained from the prior stroke. Millie is on her way to recovery once again. Her right hand & arm and her right leg & foot were affected once again. She is walking with a walker and doing physical therapy once again. She also is having speech therapy though her speech is pretty good. And she is taking additional therapy to help with her coordination on her right hand and arm. Millie's attitude is good and she is working hard to recover.
The doctors aren't quite sure what caused the stroke so they are monitoring her heart as well as the normal treatment. We would appreciate your continued prayers for Millie as she works to recover.
We would also appreciate your prayers for all the Caribbean Vision Ministries staff as we strive to keep pace with what God has chosen to do through this organization among Caribbean people.
Thanks for praying.
