IT HAPPENS!

From time to time Churches change their missions viewpoints, operating procedures, and length of support for mission endeavors. Often this comes with changes of mission committee members, changes of Pastors, or changes of conditions in the local church. Since CVM is tied to local church financial support in many ways we are often affected by these changes. In this past year we lost significant financial support from several churches for various reasons. This has hurt several ministries in Haiti in their endeavors to reach the lost and serve their communities.

One such case is in Bord der Mer, Haiti which serves one of the poorest places in Haiti in a very rural environment. Pastor Wilmain Cadet planted a church in this community, started a Christian School, and has helped to provide many social services to the community including health care. For a number of years a church in the U.S. has provided support for the teachers at the Christian School. As of this school year that Church has decided to terminate support for the school. The Bord der Mer school normally has over 100 students and the Church and school bring life changing values to the community. Without the school these poor students would receive no education at all. We need your help.

The total cost per month to pay the teachers at the Christian School is $700 usd. That is not for one teacher but rather the TOTAL COST FOR ALL TEACHERS is $700. Will your Church become a ministry partner with CVM and this church? Will your Church pay the entire amount or at least part of the amount? Will you as a ministry partner help us and send a one-time donation or a monthly donation to help support these teachers as they instill the Word of God as well as academic subjects into the lives of these children?
