One of our primary missions in the Caribbean is to assist God’s Church in the starting and planting of new churches from inception to the point of self-support and self-sustaining ministry. To assist the Church in its ministry we offer Pastoral and Leadership training and partnerships with other churches.
We extend a helping hand to churches in need through the process of assimilation, partnerships, sharing of resources, and training of leaders. As part of our helping hand policy we have short-term mission teams to assist in many areas of ministry. In addition we offer help through food, clothing, medical care and fulfillment of other social needs.
Biblically trained Pastors who know, understand and teach God’s Word are the key ingredient in church planting and building a congregation that will know and live God’s Word in their daily lives. To this end Caribbean Vision Ministries has established Grace Theological Institutes in major locales in Haiti to train Pastors and Local Church Leadership in God’s Word.
WHAT IS HOUSE OF HOPE?
House of Hope is a Christian home for orphans/and or abandoned children & teens, and a transitioning family unit for House of Hope young adults so they enter Haitian society successfully. In this country setting outside of Cap Haitien the young residents of House of Hope receive the care and oversight of Christian Staff. This environment furnishes spiritual training, a formal education, health care, sanitary living facilities, adequate food & clothing, and vocational training.

GRACE THEOLOGICAL INSTITUTE:
The key to the ministry of Caribbean Vision Ministries in Haiti is Grace Theological Institute in Cap Haitien and a number of satellite Institutes in local churches throughout Haiti. The training of Church Planters, Pastors, and local Church Leaders is necessary to provide biblically knowledgeable Leaders in Haiti. Out of these Institutes come the people to lead the church of God in Haiti in its pursuit to see people commit their lives to Christ, provide care for orphans & widows, provide medical care for the sick, educate the young, and impact the morals of society.
Because of Grace Theological Institute and its graduates House of Hope Orphanage is in operation today, Christian Schools are training children, the material needs of many poor people are being met, a partnership with Three Strands Medical Clinic is in operation, and churches are being planted and Leaders are being trained. In addition short-term ministry teams are housed at the Institute and serve the ministries in Haiti.
BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP TO KEEP GRACE THEOLOGICAL INSTITUTE OPEN AND SERVING THE PEOPLE OF HAITI. God has supplied us with exceptionally qualified Teachers; Pastors who are educated and know the Word of God. These men are teaching the future leaders of the Church in Haiti. The budget is "bare bones" and these men sacrifice to train the next generation of leaders in Haiti.
We need ministry partners who will help us financially on a regular basis to provide the operating expenses so we can continue the great work God is doing through Grace. Will you consider being one of those who give to make life changing differences in the country of Haiti?
Please help us to provide resources for Grace Theological Institute to continue its great work in Haiti. Your financial gift is vital at this time in our ministry. Please send your gift today or go to the PayPal button on this website and make a gift today. Thank your for your partnership.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP IN PROVIDING FOR THE EXPENSES OF SOME OF THE CHURCH RELATED SCHOOLS
ASSOCIATED WITH CARIBBEAN VISION MINISTRIES IN HAITI.THESE SCHOOLS OPERATE IN VERY POOR AREAS OF HAITI AND MANY OF THESE CHILDREN WOULD NOT RECEIVE AN EDUCATION WITHOUT YOUR HELP. THANK YOU ALSO FOR SUPPORTING THE EDUCATION OF THE RESIDENTS AT HOUSE OF HOPE ORPHANAGE. YOUR DONATIONS ARE MAKING LIFE BETTER FOR MANY VERY POOR CHILDREN IN HAITI.
THREE STRANDS is a U.S. Christian non-profit ministry working in Haiti to provide compassionate, sustainable, comprehensive health care for the people of Haiti. The physical, spiritual, mental and social needs of the Three Strands’ patients will be met through medicine, consultation, education and prayer. Caribbean Vision Ministries is blessed to have Three Strands operating a medical clinic on the campus of Grace Theological Institute in Cap Haitien. They also provide medical care for our residents at House of Hope Orphanage.
CIRCLE OF HEARTS MINISTRIES is a mission to benefit people in Haiti that was organized and is directed by Haitians living in the Ft. Lauderdale area. This ministry is a continuation of the work begun by Mrs. Philomise Joseph. Mrs. Joseph raised funds and personal items in the United States to distribute to widows, orphans, the homeless, hungry and extremely poor of Haiti. Caribbean Vision Ministries has a goal to encourage and help Circle of Hearts in the expansion of their efforts to help the Haitian people by making resources available to them as our partners in ministry.
A Mission Team, we call them GO2Teams, are short-term teams of six to twelve people who travel to islands in the Caribbean to serve God in many ways. The ultimate purpose is to assist churches in the United States and Caribbean to work together to plant (start) churches in the Caribbean and then help them develop to maturity. These Teams minister in a number of ways as explained here.
Caribbean Vision Ministries operates Grace Theological Institute in Cap Haitien, Haiti along with a number of satellite campuses in other cities in Haiti. GO2 Teaching Teams are usually composed of Pastors who will spend a week teaching in these Institutes on selected topics that will benefit the Pastoral students and Church Leaders. GO2 Teaching Teams composed of people with ministry skills who can train others in local churches may also serve in Haiti, Trinidad, or the Bahamas in local churches.
YOUTH AND KIDS PROGRAMS
GO2 Teams are great at ministering to children and youth in some of the poorest and most poverty stricken areas of the world. Teams can serve by providing programs like Daily Vacation Bible School, sports clinics or games, trips to the beach, school programs, crafts, or just playing with children and sharing time and hugs with them.
SMALL CONSTRUCTION PROJECTSGO2Teams can also serve with local island residents on construction projects for the local churches. If you can do physical labor then no skills are needed but your skills can be put to work also on projects like church or school buildings or on many repair projects. Relationship building through work projects is very valuable to the advancement of God’s Kingdom.
GO2 Teams can also serve residents of the islands through their medical skills and bring quality medical care to people who would not receive it otherwise. Many of the people the Team ministers to have never been to a doctor or medical facility before. Even if you have no medical skills you can still be used on the Team in many ways and the prayer team members of the medical team provide one of the most important parts of the team as each patient has individual prayer with a team member. Three Strands and Circle of Hearts Ministries usually lead these ventures.
Community Evangelism is usually done through door to door visitation of residents in the local communities. GO2Team members join with local church members who are residents of the community. The church is introduced, personal testimonies of God’s work in lives are shared, and tracts or bibles are presented to the residents. An invitation to a local church service or a present gospel crusade at night is presented. Sometimes a dinner is shared prior to the crusade. This experience is often a highlight of a Team experience and a great way to be immersed in the local culture.
